Award-winning Miller Genuine Draft, introduced in the United States in 1986, is the original cold-filtered packaged draft beer brewed using Miller's exclusive Cold-Filtered process. It is not heat pasteurized. Miller Genuine Draft won the gold medal at the 1999 Great American Beer Festival; the silver in the same category at the 1992, 1997 and 1998 Great American Beer Festivals. It also received the silver medal at the 1998 World Beer Cup competition.
