Matilda Bay Bohemian Pilsner is an elegant example of a classic European beer style. The rich fruity esters complement the soft malt notes in the mid palate derived from the all malt grist. Saaz hops give the crisp bitterness and spicy hop aroma defining this pilsner style beer.

Matilda Bay Dogbolter
Matilda Bay Dogbolter is a Munich style dark lager. Central to this style of beer is a rich malt character and thus the grist make-up had to reflect this. We carefully selected 6 different malts (although you may taste only 5!) including Pale, Crystal, Wheat, Chocolate Malt and Chocolate Wheat deliver the rich caramel, chocolate and toffee flavour. It is the use of the Chocolate malts that give us the dark ruby colour as well. It is important to balance this flavour with a soft hop bitterness, and remaining authentic to style we selected the Germanic Hersbrucker hop that adds complexity by providing a subtle floral hop aroma.

Matilda Bay Redback Mild is a refreshing malted wheat beer with the flavour of the original Redback. Brewed to 3.4% alc/vol from malted wheat and malted barley, with addition of a blend of Saaz and Pride of Ringwood Hops, to produce an easy drinking beer with a mild level of bitterness on the palate
