2008 was an awesome success with around 10 000 people turning up to enjoy boutique beer from all corners of the globe ( go to gallery for pics)

Planning is underway to make Beerfest 2009 the best year yet!

Beerfest rundown:

Entry to Beerfest is FREE to all to come and sample dozens of boutique beers from our very own world class Tasmanian Brews to brews from all around the world

The Tasmanian Beerfest mission is to educate the beer-loving public about the joys of craft beer, as well as promote pride in supporting Tasmanian beverage and food producers.
The day will provide you with the opportunity to taste a range of beers from your old favourites and to challenge yourself in trying news ones.
Where else will they crack open a beer for you just to have a taste?

Also at the Tasmanian Beerfest:

  • You will have the opportunity to try locally produced ciders, ginger beer, wine and plenty of water.
  • Try some of the best produce in Tasmania with award winning German style sausages, wood-fired Pizza, gourmet Rosti's, BBQ's, Roast Rolls, Tasmanian fish and chips and much more.
  • Be educated on the brewing process, home brewing and beer- and food-matching with special Guest Speakers.
  • Meet the Brewers that make the beer you love.
  • Learn all about beer and hop production in Tasmania.
  • Vote for  "The Best Tasmanian Beer" and 'The Best Tasmanian Bar"  and win great prizes
